Taqa, a leading utility company, is merging Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC) and Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC) into a single entity named “Taqa Distribution.” This move aims to enhance the efficiency of electricity and water distribution, making utility bill payments in Abu Dhabi and the UAE more streamlined. The rebranding will be reflected on customer bills starting in January, with other subsidiaries like Transco becoming “Taqa Transmission.” This consolidation supports Taqa’s vision of advancing operational efficiency and sustainability.
In addition, Taqa is rebranding other subsidiaries: Transco becomes “Taqa Transmission,” Sustainable Water Solutions as “Taqa Water Solutions,” and Abu Dhabi Energy Services as “Taqa Energy Services.” These changes aim to reinforce Taqa’s presence as a leading integrated utilities provider in the region.
